Venice

One Saturday Bob thought since we were already halfway around the world we would go to Venice.

Actually we went to breakfast at the restaurant Venice. It’s just a short walk up the boardwalk and it was a beautiful morning. We had a nice view of the river and watched the people on a morning climb up the Story Bridge.

There were several good choices for breakfast. I ordered the Venetian Big Breakfast and Bob was debating on the same or the Eggs Benedict Rialto. Our waiter assured him the Eggs Benedict was the choice as the chef made a wonderful hollandaise sauce. He was a very nice waiter and was one of the people who said he loved our accent. He was very gracious and polite referring to Bob as sir or the gentleman and me as the lovely lady. 

 

The food was delicious and I’d like to go back again, they are also open for lunch and dinner. It was a wonderful start to the day!
