July 2011, Bob and I drove out to Battle Lake, Minnesota to
see Phil and Rachel and to meet Annika. We tried to make it in one long day,
but a fifteen hour drive is very tiring. We made it as far as Minneapolis and
spent the night. We arrived in Battle Lake the next morning and were greeted by
our newest granddaughter.

She loved to be swaddled, but would wiggle her hands out!
…and what a blessing she has been. We have been so fortunate
to be able to visit with her in person as well as Skype to see her grow over
the past ten months.
